2024 was a good year for our Guatemalan partners. We celebrated a decade of working together to improve community health and well being with a specific focus on diabetes prevention and management.
Despite the increasing threats to food security and a decent standard of living as subsistence farmers due to the climate crisis and longstanding political challenges, our partners were able to launch a new program to support the health of young families, reduce their overall purchase of soft drinks and chip type products, and collectively expand their life-giving reforestation project.
